Hi-tea @ Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

I've visited this cozy place a few times back...I just love their interior and it feels comfortable having a cuppa coffee accompanied by their fresh from oven baked bread and sandwiches! And yeah..they do serve heavier food as well..pastas..lasagna..and pizzas..

 Rows of bread n pastry

 For chocolate lover

 Iced Latte

Melon bun & Mango cheese tart

 Chicken Lasagna

 Seafood Aglio Olio

 The creamy mushroom soup

 Potato salad

 Macarons

 Tiramisu

Dessert counter

The seafood aglio olio is a recommended one...tasted just nice and it comes with generous amount of seafood.. And I personally love their creamy mushroom soup a lot.. It's sinfully creamy to the last spoonful! The breads are nice as well..if we've gotten it fresh from the oven! How about dessert ya? The macarons are bit too sweet for my liking..but I would suggest the Dark Choco macarons. It's not so sweet but it's so chocolatey! The tiramisu is very usual...ntg to shout!

Family dinner @ Tammy's Kitchen

Deciding on where to dine can pose a real big prob for my family...after much waiting n waiting.. I cant wait any longer n decided to eat at Tammy's Kitchen! Whenever there's food they will all come together in a piece. LOL~

 Fish n chips

 Carbonara

 Fish fillet with rice

 Cheese baked rice

 Turkey ham quiche

Pasta with pesto sauce

Of all the food above, the highlight would be the quiche! It's so sinfully tasty..with the crispy layer on the outside, comes together with some salad at the side. The fish n chips and the rice are forgettable.. U shall skip those from your order the next time! The cheese baked rice and the pastas are ok..suit our liking though! We had a great time and great meal =)

Pasta Dinner @ William Dining & Bar, Ipoh Garden

My friend had told me earlier about this dining place sometime ago...she said the pasta there is nice and wallet-friendly.. I decided to join her bible study ytd nite as well as having my dinner at William =) This dining place was formerly known as Pasta House..maybe it has changed owner or whatever >.<

Simple and comfy interior

Iced Cappuccino (RM 4.70)

It tasted just like those 3-in-1 coffee mix..lol.. but it's good though..very dense n I love it!

Potato salad (RM 5.90)

I like this creamy potato salad..with added strips of bacon.. yummy and it's a good appetizer!

Chicken Lasagna (RM 21.90)

Here comes my main..lasagna! It makes me drooling since I was so hungry ytd.. I would prefer if it's more cheesy..and it somehow lacks some flavor.. Lol~ It was ok but definitely not the best one in town..

Creme Brulee (RM 7.90)

This was a complimentary dessert from them...hehe.. N it completed my whole course meal..LOL! The creme brulee is a bit hard..not that soft but it's creamy enough for my liking! It's not really sweet and yes..it worth the price! Enjoyed the dessert with my friends! I would like to try their pasta next time and they do serve alcohol as well ^^

Dim Sum Breakkie @ Qi Yuan, Greentown

I was thinking of trying the food in this Szechuan style restaurant long time ago...but just couldn't make it.. Finally had a try one morning with my friend!

The interior

Their signature 'Dan Dan Mian' (RM5.00)

The noodles are homemade and the texture is quite springy..added with their own gravy..it's a good one!

Shanghai 'Xiao Long Bao' (RM 5.00)

I would say it's not surprising..very usual for me.. but not bad though..

 Steamed prawn dumplings (RM4.50)

 Polo Bun with BBQ Pork

The bun is so crispy at the outside and flavorsome! I love the taste n the texture but it would be so much nicer without the BBQ pork. Sweet + Salty don't go along that well! >.<

 Mini Egg Tarts (RM3.80)

The egg tarts are passable...with such a size...I can easily finish it in one bite.. haha!

Snap with the egg tarts before galloping! XD

 Mini Custard Bun (RM 3.80)

The buns are worth mentioned...how I love the custard flowing from the inside! It was just pretty lovely..and so aromatic that we ordered 2 plates!

The noodles come with many choices...be it dry or soupy.. I will come back to try again for sure..but the dim sum here is just so so.. Not that bad but certainly not as good as Foh San Dim Sum.

A Halal Dim Sum breakfast @ Greentown DimSum Cafe

I was awake quite early today, so why not go for a dim sum breakkie in Ipoh? Forget about the famous dim sum outlets like Foh San, Ming Court etc.. I don't think I have such patience to search for carpark, roam for table and wait to be served in such crowded eatery. Today is a Saturday forget not. Rather than being sandwiched, I would prefer to try this halal dim sum cafe in Greentown instead.

A quite cozy environment

 The menu
So I was flipping through their menu and a waitress was coming to take order. Everything is fast and we shall wait for the food to be served on the table. Unlike the usual dim sum fare, they steam, fry and cook whenever there's order. So expect everything to be on the table piping hot!

One good thing about their utensils, all made from glass except the chopsticks and spoon. Hot food should be served on glass rather than plastics anyway!

All made from glass which is good.

We opted for green tea chrysanthemum. Not bad at all. :)

The steamed BBQ chicken buns. RM3.60 for 2.

Steamed CCF with chicken 'char siew'. RM 3.60

This come in set consisting of an egg tart, fried yam pastry,
chicken tart and sesame pastry. RM 6.20

 Prawn dumpling. RM 4.20

 Fried radish cake. RM 4.20

Chicken siew mai. RM 3.60

Overall, the food here is passable, the radish cake could be the highlight here with the flavour and texture just nice for my liking :) The egg tart is a no no, dry and soggy. The total came to RM30.90 which is quite reasonable.
