Zipangu @ Shangri La Hotel

Japanese food for dinner sounds good, and so we headed to Zipangu with my growling stomach! I'd missed my breakfast and lunch for the day and you have no idea how hungry I was! >.< I can eat a cow...lol~

Unagi roll

 Cold beancurd

 Yasai Miso

 Mushroom teppanyaki

 Unagi Jyu

I love the surrounding and the ambience in Zipangu, felt very comfy and relaxing to be dining there. The crowd wasn't big that night and I had good time enjoying my time n food =)
Unagi is always my favourite. The unagi roll is a little too small in size I can't taste much of it. But there's just ntg wrong with it :)
The cold beancurd was really cold, with shaving of ice-like on top, which I really enjoyed eating. Then comes the Yasai soup, piping hot. It was very ordinary and bland, which represents healthy food..lol.. The teppanyaki was not bad either. I can smell the flavorsome mushroom before it was put into my mouth!
OK, and the nicest part, it is the Unagi Jyu. *omg* I just can't stop my saliva from dripping after seeing the fat and juicy unagi on top of the rice. It was real good, deliciously good. Ended my dinner with a filled tummy. So satisfied. But the bill was a big one, lol, it came to around RM 180++
I would come back for more unagi next trip. Haha.

Purple Cane Tea Restaurant @ Shaw Parade

I was thinking of having soup all day...but can't think of anywhere which serves tasty soup like I always have in Ipoh. Haha..I remembered Purple Cane serves soups too! First time trying the outlet in Shaw Parade and we had to wait for some time before the Captain finally got us a table!

Tea eggs (RM1 per egg)

 Ginseng and chicken soup (RM6.90)

 My friend Nicole =)

Stir fried bitter-gourd with salted egg (RM15)

 Tea rice

 Caramel egg custard

 Peanut paste

White fungus with longan

It was quite a healthy and satisfying dinner and the bill came to RM50++.  The food is nice though with very slight tea flavor. I like the bitter-gourd coz it's sliced to very thin and it tasted very good with no bitterness like I always think. I love soups very much and the soups here were good as well. I would prefer if it comes with bigger portion..lol.. And last but not least, the desserts! We had 4 bowls of desserts, 2 for each! Their desserts choices are quite a lot, ranging from custards to paste and 'tong sui'. The caramel egg custard is delicious and not so sweet. Worth to try =)

TGIF @ The Gardens

It was my very first time trying the food in TGI Friday...! As we were tired of looking for empty space for lunch in Midvalley, we walked over to The Gardens and yeah, we saw the half occupied TGIF! Two hungry souls waited no more!

=) waiting for food time, lets snap some!

My bff!

Buffalo wings

Clam chowder

 Grilled chicken sandwich

Mashed potato

Somebody told me TGIF's buffalo wings are a must-try there. So I did, n the verdict is well, it was just better than the average. Slightly better than Chili's version! But the mashed potato here wasn't that flavorful n creamy for my liking. I like the clam chowder..creamy and came hot! The main here, grilled chicken sandwich is the highlight! The chicken was grilled and left a lil char-coaled..crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Nicely done and we finished to the last bite! We've got our stomach filled..and overall it was quite good a lunchie! Total came to almost RM 70 for both of us.

Hi-tea @ Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

I've visited this cozy place a few times back...I just love their interior and it feels comfortable having a cuppa coffee accompanied by their fresh from oven baked bread and sandwiches! And yeah..they do serve heavier food as well..pastas..lasagna..and pizzas..

 Rows of bread n pastry

 For chocolate lover

 Iced Latte

Melon bun & Mango cheese tart

 Chicken Lasagna

 Seafood Aglio Olio

 The creamy mushroom soup

 Potato salad

 Macarons

 Tiramisu

Dessert counter

The seafood aglio olio is a recommended one...tasted just nice and it comes with generous amount of seafood.. And I personally love their creamy mushroom soup a lot.. It's sinfully creamy to the last spoonful! The breads are nice as well..if we've gotten it fresh from the oven! How about dessert ya? The macarons are bit too sweet for my liking..but I would suggest the Dark Choco macarons. It's not so sweet but it's so chocolatey! The tiramisu is very usual...ntg to shout!

Family dinner @ Tammy's Kitchen

Deciding on where to dine can pose a real big prob for my family...after much waiting n waiting.. I cant wait any longer n decided to eat at Tammy's Kitchen! Whenever there's food they will all come together in a piece. LOL~

 Fish n chips

 Carbonara

 Fish fillet with rice

 Cheese baked rice

 Turkey ham quiche

Pasta with pesto sauce

Of all the food above, the highlight would be the quiche! It's so sinfully tasty..with the crispy layer on the outside, comes together with some salad at the side. The fish n chips and the rice are forgettable.. U shall skip those from your order the next time! The cheese baked rice and the pastas are ok..suit our liking though! We had a great time and great meal =)
